“Please do not contact your GP practice about Mounjaro. Only a small group of patients are eligible for Mounjaro (around 995 eligible patients in the whole of West Yorkshire) and there is a strict NHS criteria. You may be eligible if you:

·        Have a BMI of 40+ (or 37.5+ if from a South Asian, Chinese, other Asian, Middle Eastern, Black African or African-Caribbean backgrounds) and have four or more weight related health conditions including, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, heart disease

·        Or need to lose weight for life saving and urgent surgery or intervention.
